Non-Fiction Reading Assignment!
Seek, obtain, read, digest, and enjoy a highly-regarded non-fiction book between right now and Monday, January 7th. On Monday, January 7th, you will be asked to write an in-class timed writing based on the structure / organization, topic & theme, notable stylistic features, and your response to your book.
In addition, please write one journal entry of summary for each third of the book. Finally, please e-mail the title of the book, why it's considered highly regarded, and a brief synopsis (feel free to simply cut-and-paste this information) to me by Tuesday, December 18th. Also, if you would want to donate the book to future AP students, I would like to start a little library here of books that AP students would recommend.
