So, this is the last one for your summer reading assignment!
Malcolm Gladwell has an interesting and curious mind. He's the guy who wrote the critique on college rankings. Anyway, he has a new podcast called Revisionist History. Here's how he describes the podcast: "Revisionist History is Malcolm Gladwell's journey through the overlooked and the misunderstood. Every episode re-examines something from the past—an event, a person, an idea, even a song—and asks whether we got it right the first time."
Way back when this first appeared in 2016, I listened to the first three, and I've been a fan ever since.
I think these three, for example, are all still totally interesting in different ways:
However, there are now over 100 different episodes, and you can choose any one out of those 100 that you want to do. To see more options, just scroll down to the bottom and select "Show 10 More Episodes." One thing that you may want to keep in mind is that several episodes are part of a three-part series, so maybe you want to choose one that is a one-and-done podcast? Again, it's up to you.
In terms of a writing part, I'm just asking you to write 150 words of summary and personal response in the comments below. Thanks!!!

- "The Lady Vanishes" explores how a female painter in Victorian England disappears after an initial success.
- "Saigan, 1965" digs into some reasons behind intelligence failures associated with the Vietnam War.
- "The Big Man Can't Shoot" looks at why Wilt Chamberlain decided to abandon the underhand free throw after making 28 out of 32 in his famous 100-point single game NBA scoring record.
